anyone sell their cards?
i was wondering if anyone was ever paid for cards theyve made - someone has asked me if i could make them around 50 or 60 birthday/graduation invites but i'm not sure of what I should do as far as pricing goes. She is buying all of the paper supplies (vellum, cardstock, envelopes and a pen) at archivers. theyre going to be handmade and handwritten so does anyone have suggestions as to what i should charge?

spring music cards
every year i like to make my music classes cards thanking them for the awesome time i've had with them throughout the semester so here is what i came up with. i have about 47 more to go, but i didn't want to go on without getting some opinions on them because i don't think they look fantastic, and they're expecting cards as great as they thought their xmas cards were. ( photosCollapse )
so really, it's basically marker scribbled over embossed stamp. i just think it looks... blah. any suggestions?

Hello, I have two questions about e-cards.
When somebody of my friends have a birthday, I usually send an e-card. The problem is that the cards on Yahoo or Hallmark is not exactly what I want. I spend hours searching for the right card and end up sending just a not very exiting one. Does any one know a good website with free and creative e-cards?
And second question: what would you like to see on a e-card that is sent to you?

A little variation never hurt :)
so my last card, snowman in window, was very cute but terribly difficult to cut out those windows (and i couldn't find anymore of that card in that color) I came upon a variation. I was wondering for the edge on the blue - should i use white stamp ink and shadow around the edge or take white pen and do a mock stitching? ( silver bells...Collapse )

I recently brought glow in the dark embossing powder from spotlight (fabric and craft store) and after using it there seems to be NO GLOW !! :s Is there any secret to using this product ? I have embossed before and everything always works I do the usual stamp onto paper/card (using pigmant ink pad) then sprinkle powder on page and tip of excess then heat using heat gun method which has always worked in the past but the only effect I get from the glow powder is that it turns clear :(. Does anyone know waht I'm doing wrong ?? or is the glow powder a no go ??
xposted everywhere (sorry I wanna get this sorted out soon as I'm trying to get some christmas cards done)
